How are you doing? In Utrecht everything is fine, we found oursleves two composers who are willing to participate in this project. So we are compleet now!

Nicole, i will contact this week about your composer.

This week the dutch youngsters will meet their composers. I'm looking forward to this meeting!

Well guys keep up the good work and let me know if you have any questions or problems contacting your composer.

Wir freuen uns schon auf das Treffen mit Euch am Sonntag ab 11 Uhr in der Neuköllner Oper !

Anthony vom Yo Festival hat ein paar Fragen/Bitten an Dich:

- Bitte überlege, wie du "deinem" Komponisten deine Idee in Englisch erklären kannst: Warum ist dein Thema wichtig für dich? Warum sollte die Welt von diesem Thema erfahren? Warum sollten der Komponist und du ein 5 Minuten Musiktheaterwerk daraus machen?
- Wir können am Sonntag auch das Internet benutzen (wenn du etwas deinem Komponisten als Anregung dort zeigen willst). Vielleicht gibt es ja eine Rede von Obama oder Martin Luther King, die du inspirierend findest.
- Welche Musik magst du am liebsten? Vielleicht kannst du ja ein CD bzw youtubelink mitbringen..

Eintrag:@ Nicole: Die "Schwächen nutzen", das ist wohl wirklich, was wir machen. Gelegenheiten wie die Krise im Moment, in der das "System" schwächelt und mehr Leute als sonst die Notwendigkeit sehen, was zu ändern, sind selten. Zuletzt hab ich das vor 20 Jahren erlebt (ok. manchmal kommt was Andres raus als das, was man erhofft hat Smiley: *onlex14* ), wir wären blöd, die Chance nicht zu nutzen. Also haut rein!

Eintrag:Ok ich habe einen sehr interessanten Artikel in der Zeitschrift "fluter" gefunden - es geht um den Fall der Berliner Mauer. Vielleicht kann das wer als Denkanstoß nehmen? Schilling schreibt: "Das Beste an der DDR war ihr Ende. Eine Revolution, die insgesamt friedlich verlief. Innerhalb weniger Monate nutzten Tausende mutiger Menschen die Schwäche des sowjetischen Imperiums und der eigenen Staatsmacht, gründeten Organisationen, Parteien, gingen auf die Straße und brachten das Kartenhaus zum Einsturz." Was ich interessant fand, war, dass hier die SCHWÄCHEN genutzt wurden - also anstatt nach einem guten Gegenmittel zu suchen einfach nur die Schwächen ausnutzen?? Eintrag:I just got a call from Anthony with a tip for all of us. He’s traveling and just bought in a kiosk at the station Time magazine (march 23rd)
On the cover: “10 ideas chancing the world right now” Maybe you can buy the magazine in Berlin.
Anthony said it is a nice article. It really covers themes we are also talking about. Of course it’s more economic (time magazine) but things about Climate change, bio-industry, walls and so on.
