Seit eindige Zeit bin ich der Eigentuemer einer P6 3500s . Chassisnummer 48402204, Almond gelb .
Genre wuerde ich mehr wissen ueber Rover überhaupt , aber vor allem, ueber meinem Rover P6.

Verfuegen Sie ueber eine Adresse wo ich mehr hinterfragen kann (Rover archives , oder so etwas.

Once upon a time I had a Rover 2000TC, wich I really liked, and now 42 years later I had the opportunity to buy another P6, a 3500 from 1975. It was better than Christmas eve to come home with my new favoritetoy! Lovely!

Your webpage is a treasure trove of information.
I have owned and restored many classic cars in the past as a hobby but today I will be picking up my first Rover - it is a 1971 P6 3500V8 in Corsica Blue with what I believe is Sandalwood interior. The VIN is 45200458A with engine number 42529639C and the previous owner has fixed an LP gas conversion kit to the car and it runs very well with this. The car overall is in excellent condition and apart from three rust spots on the rear wings is unmarked. I will be consulting the information on your website down the track. Thank you again for your efforts.

Eintrag:My father owned two 1968 2000 TC's, one he drove and the other was for parts. I remember helping him bleed the brakes, set the timing ... come to think of it he spent a lot of time working on that car. But it great for father/son bonding. Thanks for the great memories.

Als ich vor wenigen Wochen die DVD über den Autotest von 1967 über den 2000 TC sah, dachte ich beim Anblick des Kombiinstruments sofort an die Radioskala eines Transistorradios aus den Siebzigern...

Eintrag:Ich bin begeistert von diesen Seiten. Ich schwelge in meinen Jugenderinnerungen. Hab von April 1978 bis August 1980 selbst einen 2000 TC gefahren. Obwohl ich seit dem, weitere 14 Autos hatte (zur Zeit Audi A6 Avant, 3.0 TDI-Quattro) bin ich der Meinung dass der 2000 TC das bisher schönste Auto war. Leider nicht das qualitativ beste. (Hab damals nicht mehr British Leyland sondern British Elend gesagt) Bin am überlegen ob ich mir noch einen 2000 TC kaufen soll. Gibt es irgendwo noch einen gut restaurierten? Farbe wenn möglich almond oder turmeric.

Eintrag:Ich war stolzer Besitzer von zwei (!) P 6 - sie wurden verkauft wegen zu großer Familie und wegen der absoluten Winteruntauglichkeit dieses Fahrzeugtyps: die Kraft und die Automatik zusammen konnte man selbst mit einem Hochsee-Schiffer-Patent nur schlecht zu einer Geradeausfahrt bei Glätte bewegen. Außerdem gab es immer wieder Temperaturprobleme. Heute würde ich gerne wieder einen P& besitzen - vor allen Dingen, nachdem ich die "Estates" gesehen habe. Hägar

Eintrag:Excellent site! I lived 20 yrs in UK, returning to Australia this year. In UK I owned two P6Bs (and other classics) - an April Yellow Series 1 V8, and a later Lunar Grey, auto. Lovely cars! I'm on my second P6B in Sydney - I used to have a NZ assembled Honeysuckle yellow auto and recently I flew down to Tasmania and bought/drove back to Sydney in a 1973, UK assembled 3500S - my first manual. I'd always wanted an 'S' and this beauty is rust free and has such a smooth engine (balanced crank) with electronic ignition (makes a noticable improvement, better starting for one) and an electric fuel pump.
Much enjoy reading the site - great to see the cars have such passion world-wide. My ultimate P6 would be, one of the Graber designed P6 Coupes, either in 4 or 8 cylinder form - beautiful cars. All the best Mark

Eintrag:Nach einem Land-Rover und einem Rover MINI die ich sehr gerne gefahren bin, stieß ich bei der Suche nach Informationen zum P6 auf diese Seite. Ich habe sie seeeehr genossen. Zur Schilderung über die Erlebnisse bei Familie Meyer kann ich nur schmunzelnd nicken. Ich hatte ein ähnliches Erlebnis. Ich finde deine Arbeit - als Forum und Website - noch immer großartig und möchte diese mit jener von James Taylor gleichsetzen. Wenn auch mit völlig anderem Konzept.
Umso mehr habe ich bedauert, dich beim Internationalen ROVER-Treffen in Celle im Mai 2010 nicht getroffen zu haben - wie auch die meisten Mitglieder des Forums.

Super Website. Ich habe mich gerade mit der Rover P6 neue "angefreundet" nach uber 25 Jahren beshaeftigung mit anderen Oldtimer (u.a.der Sindelfinger /8). Neueste Anschaffung im Fuhrpark ist eine Monza Red P6B 3500S. Stolze besistzer seite gerade eine Woche! Der Rover P6 ist die echte"Freude amd Fahren"
